I'm an artist and have been painting since 1973. Been taking photos since 1976. Studied with Marion Patterson and kinda with Ansel Adams. I was to busy chasing girls then. :)
I worked on the beta version of Photoshop at Adobe System, before it was first released to the public (1989). Been using Adobe Illustrator since 1988, Lightroom since 2009.
Worked with piles of Silicon Valley, Fortune 1000 companies and more.
I love painting, taking photos, surfing, exploring, cooking and teaching you stuff! So pay attention! ;)

I really love being part of the Maui Camera Club - I've learned so much from the other members and my photography has definitely improved as a result.
I also enjoy our outings and seeing everyone's images - as a bonus, I've made some friends for life!

Dave Schoonover
Director
I'm a retired firefighter who ran a successful photography business on Maui for several years. I joined the Camera Club shortly after moving here, and have loved the presenters, the outings, the classes, and the sharing.
I met some of my best friends on island through the club, and look forward to being part of it long into the future.

June Ono
Secretary
I'm always inspired by the sharing of fellow members when I listen to them and see their work. Photography is a de-stressor - just pick up your camera and go anywhere!
So many friends I've made, so much I learn, and so much fun at our meetings and outings!

I love meeting people, making friends, and making images. What better way than to be a part of Maui Camera Club!

Dee Coyle
Director
Taking photos to create art, or even to tell a story, is a continuous journey of discovery. Surprisingly, I started to see life differently once I viewed the world through my camera lens.
I’ve been a member of the Maui Camera Club for several years and I always learn something new from other members and through our monthly photo sharing forums.

Herb Coyle
Director
I love capturing the moment with my camera. Ansel Adams once said, “You donÊ»t take a photograph, you make it.” With todayÊ»s software weÊ»re able to create the image that either resembles what I saw or resembles what I wanted to see.
The Maui Camera Club has been a valuable learning environment for members of all skill levels as well as a great place to make new friends.
